Singapore Airlines will introduce the flight of jumbo airbus A380 – largest aircraft of the world in India for the first time. The record of flying world’s first airbus A380 is also with them which they have started in the year 2007 between Singapore and Sydney.

The services will be provided from two cities Delhi and Mumbai from May 30. Four months earlier, the concerned department of India has announced the permission to fly A380 airbus from four cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hydrabad.

The Singapore Airline’s A380s can fly 471 passengers in a three class division - first class suites, business class and economy.

The Singapore Airline’s General Manager (India) David Lau informed that the Indian market is very important to them and "we are very pleased that more of our customers will soon be able to experience the spaciousness and comfort of the world's largest aircraft."

The introduction of airbus A380 from India by Singapore Airlines will encourage other airlines also to kick start their flights of the jumbo airbus as through this airbus they can provide more economical service to the passengers.
